thanks for the tip. i'm just hoping that it doesn't increase at the same rate, because otherwise we'll have a billion drummers by the end of the summer. i think malthus said that.
Really the most interesting thing about Malthusian population growth when it comes to drummers is the unlikely link between that phenomenon and the shift away from a traditional model of media delivery. It used to be that all you needed to get the news out was a printing press and the desire to make something of yourself in this world. I'm reminded of the time i did a magic show for some children of an Afghani goat herder (a 16th generation goat herder, his wife told me through a German translator who learned Pashtun over the internet, wow!). Anyway, nowadays, you really have to wonder just what's next on the economic rollercoaster. Are we cranking up the hill slowly only to plunge screaming into a recession that will then hurtle us through economic reform and a new Golden Age of the West(TM)? Or are we headed for a stomch-turning loop-the-loop of non-sensical Washington-Post-editorials bashing NAFTA? I was wondering that very thing, so I asked my daughters about and they told me that they have each, independently, met at least 26 drummers living throughout the world on MySpace. If only I knew 26 drummers when I was their age! I tried to explain to them Malthus' projections about drummer population growth rate vis-a-vis death rate but I don't think you can ever really understand a world without MySpace unless you're my age and you've been received by the royalty of at least 27 countries (1 more than the drummers, wow!) the way I have. So will we ever truly know just what implications these complex issues will have in the future. Certainly not in my lifetime, but absolutely, 100% certainly in the lifetime of my daughters. Because I'm older than them.

Maybe it's the same drummer, but its also being broadcast in HD so the second signal is delayed a bit. You should look into that.
