can we all just agree that this is an extraordinarily precise measurement?
11.8125" by 11.8125". and dudes, we're not measuring parts for a space station or anything. it's a washcloth. from the dollar store. from the extraordinarily precise dollar store.

they prolly didn't have a good way to display 13/16th, altho why the washcloth is 3/16 smaller than 12 I cannot fathom.
since it's a washcloth from the dollar store i bet 11.8 inches would have been a close enough measurement. it's not like that last .0125 of an inch is going to make or break somebody's purchase of it, especially because it depicts a cute animal and is compressed into a star shape so that you can put it into warm water and watch the magic unfurl. maybe the labelmaker person just learned about significant figures and wanted to practice at work.
