can we all just agree that cupcakes are fantastic?

somehow, they're a lot more fun than a comparably-sized slice of cake. something about their portability increases the deliciousness factor pretty dramatically.

i think it's the accessibility factor. you can hold it anywhere on the sides or bottom, and could probably eat the whole thing in one bite if you wanted. not so much with the cake (don't worry cake, we still love you).
